New Paragraph
The love of art!
Art has always been a quiet but powerful force in my life — a way to express what words often cannot. It brings balance, beauty, and a sense of connection to the world around me. Whether through bold colors or subtle textures, creating art is not just a passion — it’s a form of healing, joy, and storytelling.
About me
Hi, I’m Tamara Stauch — an artist, educator, and creative maker based in the Bay Area.
For many years, I worked as a certified Gymnasiallehrerin (German-accredited secondary school teacher), specializing in Math and Biology and German for grades 5 to 13. I also taught German, Art, Dance, and Physics during my teaching career. Teaching was not just a profession but a passion — I loved helping young minds grow through structure, curiosity, and creativity.
After partially losing my hearing, I made the difficult decision to step away from the classroom. This unexpected shift led me to reconnect with my lifelong love of painting and crafting — and what began as a personal outlet has since grown into a full-time creative journey.
Today, I offer a curated selection of original artwork available for sale or short-term rental, perfect for home stagers, interior stylists, and anyone looking to bring warmth and character into a space. Each piece is painted with intention and emotion — influenced by my background in science, education, and everyday life.
In addition to painting, I also create and sell handmade dog leashes and occasionally offer private tutoring in Math and Biology for students who need personalized support.
Thank you for being here — and for supporting independent art and craft.
Damage, Theft & Insurance
All rented artwork remains the property of the artist and must be handled with care. The renter is responsible for the artwork during the entire rental period, including any damage, loss, or theft.
A replacement value will be stated in the rental agreement for each piece. In some cases, a security deposit may be required. If you or your business carries insurance that covers rented artwork, please let me know.
